Hello my name is Amanda. I love animals, I have lots of cats and one dog Daisy, one turtle Courage, one huge fat hamster Cupcake, and fish and shrimps!! I also love love love running. In spring I would like to do track, and next year im doing cross country again. I like horror movies too. I mostly love your hair to me it looks like a candy caine!! :) I also like having you as a teacher!!!!

Holiday Traditions

My holiday tradition for Thanksgiving is, my parents and I go to my grandma Cathy's house at 1:00 and have Thanksgiving dinner. But when it gets to 6:00 or 6:30 we start to leave to go to my other grandma and grandpa's house, and have Thanksgiving dinner again!  After that I'm  stuffed!!!!!!!!!!!!!

“Get off you big baby” I shout at my six year old chocolate lab named Daisy. Daisy was sitting on my lap waiting to get out of the car and go into Petco but she had no clue why she was going there. The reason she was going there is because she is getting a shot.

When we got out Daisy ran right inside of the store with my mom dragging behind “ Oh my gosh” I say in such an annoying way but I kept going. When we got closer and closer to the line for the shot and I smelled a smell I never smelled in a long time. It was the smell of thousands of dogs barking, crying, sleeping, and maybe going to the bathroom. As we stood in line Daisy was so happy that she was somewhere other then house that she was shedding and crying so much that everyone was staring at her.

After a few minutes a lady that worked there gave me a free chocolate lab calendar and I said “ thank you so much” with a big smile. I looked at the back and the pictures were so cute especially the one of a chocolate lab with headphones on it was so cute.

Through painful hours of waiting with smelly cute but some mean dogs in a long line thank goodness we were next.

Just looking at the table the dog has to go on I say “oh my god” in my head. How is my fat dog Daisy suppose to get up there, not even five people could get Daisy on that table. But then they just gave her the shot on the ground. It went by so fast and it didn't even look painful to her or me.
After that we looked around and around forever just for fun and I just loved watching the birds play and run and fly around. But my mom said we had to go now, so we walked out with Daisy.

When we got home I thought Daisy would run and be barking and wanting a bone. She still wanted the bone I got for her but after that Daisy found a spot to lay down in and went to sleep. And that was the end for her today. Lets just hope she doesn't need another shot anytime soon.

                    Patriotism

Is patriotism still here, or is it gone with the wind? Patriotism is part of life unity, freedom, and service. But freedom isn't always free.

America is what brings everyone together, we must keep it together, we are the new people and we must continue to work together. I think if we stop fighting in this world, everything will be easy.

Our country was formed for the people to keep it together. Voting is the most important thing for us to pick the boss of our country and not some random person. I'm so happy for patriotism. People risk their lives for us and for our country to be better place for everyone.

Speaking and saying what we believe will get us far, maybe good or maybe bad. But if we say what we have to say we could go far, could even change the country.

Freedom is what we need for people to have a great life and not a bad life. I know if we didn't have freedom we would not have patriotism too. But we have freedom and patriotism, and we should be happy we do.

Our people built this place for us to live whatever religion and style, and look that we choose. Not for us to mess it up by being mean and hurtful to others. Patriotism is unity, support, and service for everyone, even you. Patriotism is what matters the most.

The people who go into the armed forces are true heroes, even if they are not on your little list of your heroes, just think hard of who made this country better? If the armed forces were not invented as a big job for people to do in this world just think of what the world would be like. It wouldn't be good at all, but now the country is fine. That is why I am happy for our country and life now, and would not want to live anywhere else.

All About Me

Hello my name is Amanda. I am on the cross crountry team and love to run, but gets to be too much sometimes. I love animals mostly dog, small dogs. But I have a chococlate lab that is long and tall and her name is Daisy and she is very hyper sometimes but mostly all the time. I have 4 cats , Skip, BJ, Fluffy and Spooky, and recently 3 new kittens. A box turtle named Courage. A hamster named Cupcake that has a really annoying wheel that make nosie all night. Also five fish two shrimps that are very cutie. But the filter is very loud so that makes me not sleep but you get very used to it, but not really. I might be getting a catfish, the small ones because I used to have some but they died.  I love when they jump a little bit out of the water. I really want a yorkie or a chihuahua or a pomeranian I really want a pomeranian especially the teacup ones.

Halloween

I am very excited for Halloween. I can not wait for the candy and sometimes money! But most of all the costumes I love to pick one out but there are to many to pick from or none to pick from. I do not know what I want to be yet and I hope I pick something good or great that would be better than good. I also like watching movies mostly scary ones because thats what Halloween is for! The other thing is going to houses and taking all their candy if you can. I like when they leave the bowl outside because then you could just take hand fulls!!

Patriot's Pen Essay

I am doing a Patriors Pen Essay in school and all I have to do is my final copy. Then I will be done with it. I thought it was kind of easy, and 300 - 400 words not that much I have to say.
